The Countdown Begins

The Countdown begins!  We all know what month it is!!!  It's MAY!  It has to be the busiest craziest month always!  There is just one thing after another and they all are so special and so fun!  You can't miss anything!  School is coming to an end!  We tried to capture some life on those days of home or taking it easy with the animals, opening the pool and let's not forget the gorgeous flowers all in bloom!  Mother's Day means a picture with my precious kids who I love more than anything! 

The Countdown begins,,, the real countdown! So many lasts are happening! All for  our.... can't say it.... our..... GRADUATING SENIOR!!! I swear I think all the things leading up to graduation just help us prepare for the big event!  The "last drive" out of the school parking lot.... kind of bitter sweet!  Trying to soak all these things up and avoid the reality of what's really happening.  Maybe running through fields of corn is a nice and beautiful distraction for this mama. Ha Ha!  It's a great place to cry, pray and just feel the sunshine coming down on new life coming out of the ground.  It gave me such a great respect for farmers as I looked across the field.  They truly work the ground that God made.  It's truly amazing the process and all the work that goes in to farming our soil.  Just looking down as I was running made me feel so amazed at the rows and rows of green plants blooming up. No matter what you do though, you can't help but think about that little plant you once had starting to bloom.... They bloomed so fast and grew up so tall and now they are graduating!!!!  We will save that sappy post for next time!
