Come Hug Our Necks Before We Move

Oh Sweet Texas Friends... thank you for your love! The memories over the years are safely put in our hearts! We are so grateful God surrounded our children with loving friends here in Texas. It truly takes a village & the families are forever a part of our lives. Since most everything was packed up, we did a pool party for each of the three young ones. They wanted to be at their home which I thought was so sweet! They said, “I want to do it at our home we have lived in.” For Noah... we wanted to do something a little different for him since he is older & some of these “experiences” are super fun & memorable. One of his best friends wanted to throw him a “going away party” at Top Golf which is exactly what he was hoping we would do! There aren’t enough words for how blessed we have been by the friendships that surround him. Getting through middle school requires good influences & a village of parents to all come together for what is best for these kids. That is exactly what we have had & the Lord knows that is all I pray for in this next season. For the kids to be loved & accepted & to not only have a good friend & influence on them.. but to be one to others as we journey into new schools.

We Love our Texas Tribe! I know Tennessee must have one too!!!

End of the School Year Soak Ups

Getting close to the end of the school year is always a time that is busy but full of happy memories! Field trips & Fun Day & 8th grade banquet. Loved seeing all those kids dressed up! Then Noah had to powder puff game & seeing him & his friends dressed up as cheerleaders was absolutely HILARIOUS!  My, My... For they have grown up the last 3 years! High school is upon us & we are sad to leave a solid group of friends & families. So proud of them all! The 5th grade graduation puts another one of our kiddos out of elementary & starting middle school next year!!!! Wow!  As we continue to pack and plan... It is also time to soak up these kids & be home to enjoy some yummy fish tacos made by my one & only!
