If someone told me when I was 16 that ‘this man’ would be my future father law.... That would mean I married his son❤️ & no sir would I have minded that!😏 BUT no one could tell me what an INCREDIBLE gift this future father-in-law would be. Someone who puts God first & holds his family together with his sincere & loving heart. 💙Someone who our children would call Papa & be their only grandfather to ever know. Someone who puts a smile on your face when he’s driving his tractor, wearing his overalls, chopping beautiful vegetables by the kitchen sink, taking care of his garden, leading our family in communion & prayer & many other unspoken things that you feel in his presence. A year ago on Easter weekend just after he turned 70, we were all gathered on our knees praying for the Lord to heal him & not take him from us. He had just recently returned from Africa & had cerebral malaria. We waited for a call from the doctors every day as no one could go be with him b/c of Covid. It was absolutely gut wrenching. 🙏🏻 We are now at his 71st bday 🎉 & Easter ✝️.... and Oh Lord Jesus how very grateful we are for this past year with him as we were able to celebrate the marriage of “50 years”with these two amazing parents & their presence in each of our lives. So very grateful to live just across the creek & through the woods from the absolute best folks. Happy Birthday to one incredible man! 💙
Easter 2021.... as I rode to church I looked down at my hands... admiring a special ring my Mama gave me & my sis one year. We all got pink rings. It made me smile & feel so very grateful to be able to place my hand on my Bible while riding in the car to church on EASTER SUNDAY! Last year was so hard being home & everyone home with lots of unknowns. Not just what was happening with our world but also praying for our Papa to be ok.
This year was a true ✝️ Victory In Jesus✝️
We have such a reward in Heaven with eternity with Him... our one & only Savior! We are Rejoicing!💗✝️🌸🌷
