The New Year is always such slide into kind of feeling. It’s so much hustle & bustle with December and then you are literally in your face sliding into the celebration of a New Beginning! Well at least I seem to be doing that! We always keep it pretty simple NYE because well we just tired.
After the clock strikes into the New Year…Here we go!!! What’s next!? More school & sports? Well from the looks of these pictures… we had some Snow Days! Lazy, cuddling with animals snow days! What else can we bake?
Then on to the Basketball Coming Home… Noah was a representative for the senior class. So him & Lauryn got to do it again! They looked ultra spiffy & gorgeous! Fun memories!
Also, January started off with our Bronco being built & finally ready for us to come pick up!!! A year in the making & worth the wait! She’s a Beaut! Seems like this is our first car we got for us & not a family & kids & car seats & traveling. Noah drives, Emmie is about to be full on driving in a few months so we are shrinking & no need to drive a bus anymore with all the driving I do!
The last few pics are Noah when he spoke at our school district’s District Banquet. They pick a senior from each high school & some alumni to speak & it was so cool to hear how people have left & come back and what people have done after graduating high school then college and so forth. Noah made us proud! Nathan couldn’t be there but it doesn’t get any better than Noah’s granddad sitting with us.
Last but not least… communion & feet washing at church with precious daughters & nieces washing one another’s feet. What Jesus did for those closest to him was truly the example for all of us. Serve our loved ones, Serve others. Love & Be Humble. What a great way to start the new year…. What Jesus Did.
