S.O.U.L - S.I.S.T.E.R
When someone is a part of your soul... you never say goodbye. You are connected for always. I thank God for the gift of friendship that was more than I could have ever imagined..... which is why we ALWAYS have to trust HIM. Even with change, He has us. He had us the day we met & He ain’t finished yet!
I never post things much about my circle of friends.... I don’t know why.... but I hold times with them close to my heart. I don’t feel I need to blast it all over the internet every time we are together. I don’t need to let people know where we are & who we are with. It’s just not important. What’s important is the moments with these special friends.
It keeps it sacred.... it keeps it special. It’s not a secret... it’s just our own. Our little Colleyville Gang had such a neat way of forming. We love to talk about it b/c we all truly feel it was all so meant to be. Before we knew it, the dads were all coaching baseball together and then football and then hunting... all with their sons. There have been plenty of nights together with so many memories that make us the friends that we are. The timing of these relationships has been a huge part of why they are so meaningful!
Well....the reason for this heartfelt post is... Some extra special people in our “Colleyville Gang”... have headed off to the sweet country roads of Texas. So this called for another reason to get together, reminisce & celebrate this special family. This special family that IS true family to us. Our children are like cousins & we have been so thankful to do Life together. Some things will change since they won’t be around the corner anymore.

God brought us together....So... I have to let her go. He has given me the strength to do that & gotten us through it & even gave us some special times this Summer.
I am not sad because this has been a long time of both of our hearts yearning for a simpler life... the country... We have the same heart about many things in this life &
this has been a deep conversation many of times of wondering where God wants us to be.
This isn’t goodbye, This is a Blessing!
Change is always scary at first... but the more you Trust in Him... the more at peace you are with each day that passes & each wonder of your heart you have. God has spoken to us many times at the same exact time. We would be so excited to get together for deep talks & share our hearts... all that God had been saying & what had been happening.... When You say the SAME THINGS to one another... you can’t give a word to describe the coincidences of God’s presence for both of us at the same time.
Talk about confirmation of our Lord!?
Absolutely. Purely. Sacred.
Everyone yearns for a friendship that is true, easy & everlasting. When you have that & your hearts are the same... it’s a feeling in your soul that can be nothing other than “soul sister worthy” .... it’s the realest kind of friendship in the universe. THAT’S the part that makes me cry.

I am forever thankful to our Lord for bringing us together the way He did & for giving us one another to support & carry through this life. I am happy for my soul sister to get to start experiencing the S.IM.P.L.E. Life.... what we have both been dreaming of for a long, long time!
She gets to go first & I get to cheer her on!
Dear S.O.U.L - S.I.S.T.E.R.,
Go get you some SIMPLE LIFE...
Listen to the quiet country & feel the wind blow,
Drive on them dirt roads & let that car stay dirty baby!
Close that gate & hold that family close.
Enjoy that sweet supper table time!
Take in the new people as they will be blessed to know you. Rock on that porch & sip your coffee with the Lord.
Watch the sunsets at the wheat fields
& don’t forget “Rose’ All Day!”

Free from the things in which we do not belong.
“Freedom is where our Lord is leading us.”
When we feel called from the Lord & we listen...
He blesses us.
Your heart tells me everything is gonna be just as it should be...& this I know... because My heart tells me the Same!
