Time to Surrender

I can’t believe we are here… another Orange beginning their senior year of high school. That’s right, Emmie will be sponsoring our kleenex usage this coming senior year! Gunner will be a sophomore & Jensie will be in 8th grade & last year of middle school. Our almost 21 year old Noah will be in his junior year of college! Not sure when I will get a pic of him so I found one from the 4th

I pray for each of these youngens of ours to have an amazing year, to be curious & learn something new about life, about themselves & about those around them. I pray that they are brave enough to stand up for truth & show someone Jesus in any way possible. I yearn for the ability to guide them & that this Mama can continue to try my best in surrendering all my concerns for our children over to the Lord & rest in the truth that… they are His. #forevermybunchoforanges #herewegoagain #kleenexboxplease #surrender

It's time to surrender to school starting, surrender to summer ending, surrender to sports starting and filling our schedules.... but there is beauty in surrendering.... you can just sit back and enjoy each day as it comes and goes. Don't try to control everything because you just can't. I am so relieved to release the moans of my mom heart to the Lord. He carries me through the changes with these kiddos as they start new seasons of life. He reminds me often to not forget He has all of this and I don't have to have it all figured out.
