She’s 14! I don’t know what I would do without this 4th child! She is an absolute ball of fun & makes us laugh time & time again! She is a lover of this life, actually loves school, her friends, her dogs, her sports & her family. She is most definitely maturing & growing up right before our eyes… and as hard as it can be sometimes to accept…it’s easier just to savor the special moments, conversations & fun times. She ain’t gonna let me be tissue box mom with her… if she even sees my eyes glaze she immediately asks “are you crying!!!??” She takes over & plunges me into a marathon of happy music or her funny self. She definitely fills my cup a lot of days with her sweet compliments & just being a noticer of things. I love that genuine side of her! We are so very grateful God blessed us with this little Jewel…. Our Jensie Jewel.
We pray she lets Him guide her & give her strength in this life as she continues learning & growing in all things.... and that she will know when her Mama's eyes glaze, it's not always sad. Sometimes it's so happy and proud and soaking up the moment she is in. Sometimes the glaze is good! Just like her birthday doughnuts!
