Our end of the summer beach trip just has to happen. We love the simpleness of the close beach and just our family. A nice time to just be together before all the crazy starts with back to school. I know one day our family will hold sweet and fun memories from these beach trips. My favorite things about going to the beach are:
having the beach to ourselves where the kids can be free and Sonny too
no schedule
dinner on the beach
ice cream truck
watching the boys fish... this year they caught a shark!
seashells galore
tan little legs & braids
mason jars with slushy goodness in them
music and dancin.... even Gunner got down this year with a dance we will never forget
being able to drive to the beach and back up and have everything we need in the back of our car
huntin for a souviner
crab huntin and children screaming with excitement that they found another one
the waves and boogie boards with my kids
a house that is small but sweet and the kids always think it's the best place ever... even if me & Nate are questioning it.
sand castles and creations
family pictures and seeing my beautiful children with their blue eyes and an ocean of awe behind them
I could go on and on but will just be thankful to have these pics to reflect on all the sweet memories.
