Oh September how sweet you are... school has started and Lord knows we are tired. What better distraction than a birthday celebration for our sweet Gunner. He turned 8!!! We love birthdays at our house.... We don't always have a big party with friends... but we ALWAYS celebrate big at home with the FAMILY. I have so much fun decorating our little kitchen table and I love deciding on a theme. It is usually very simple and comes together just right. It makes me happy and I hope it makes them feel special. Daddy took Gunner to the deer lease to ride his new mini bike and skipped school. Ya gotta skip on your birthday right? Gunner also had a little arm scare from falling from a fence he was climbing. It ended up not being broken... so goodbye sling we say!!! There are more pictures of 4H and goats and bunnies and an awesome fieldtrip. Me and Emmie ziplined for the first time! FUN! Birthday parties and skating fun. Found a sweet whiteboard message Emmie made in her room one night and it reminded me that all that we are trying to teach and show our children... as much as we can let ourselves worry or think we aren't doing it right... This was a sign from the Lord for me that He is with Me... Keep trying... they are listening... they are picking it up. Even if they don't always say it or act it... it is finding its place in their hearts. Love looking back at pictures and remembering the struggles and the sweet. Every picture tells a story & I want to remember them all.
