July 28th was our 23rd Anniversary.... But we have now been together for a whoppin 30 YEARS!! WHAT?? I don't even remember life without him in it? He is seriously my one and only soulmate! I have thanked God for him and begged the Lord to make him mine long before we said, "I Do." What a wonderful answered prayer of a lifetime. Believe it or not this pic is when we were in college!!! We look like babies! It's been a long ride...through the backroads of teenage years, to the college life, to the suburbs of Texas and back to the country life of our hometown in Tennessee where I talked him into hanging a chandelier in a grain bin in one of the overhangs of our barn. Perfect little spot to slow dance, right? I think he loves me! I sometimes wonder what will happen next in this life with him... but let's just enjoy each day as it comes and continue to thank God for our life together!
Marriage is truly a gift from God!
