Another Summer out in the country! Definitely my favorite so far because we have been able to enjoy our new home & a few things adding to it make it feel like summer! For starters… A Garden!!! Still being slightly busy with life & other projects I didn’t want to get in over our heads with anything crazy. We planted my favorite… Tomatoes! Some lettuce, squash, zucchini, peppers galore, green onion, cilantro & okra too! It was nice to get a feel for it all and taste some freshness of these beautiful veggies! I think next year we will know what we want more of or less of & to add a couple more beds. Lots of family fun for the 4th & Nate always making us laugh with his blue Jean shorts. It was such a cool thing to have our uncle Tai and family with us this year! He serves our country in the army & the flag felt a little brighter in color this year having him there with us! We celebrated our Nonna, fished with our cousins, cooked the fish and had many of more hot July Creek days! It’s always the best surprise when the most beautiful lilies bloom all around our creek. It’s so cool to think these were purposely planted so many years ago when this land was a boys ranch & ponds & paddle boats & well kept grasses all around this beautiful little place. It’s grown up a lot & we hope to get a lot of its beauty back & restore much of this place. It’s been a project but to us is a legacy to our children & the amazing blessing from God letting us move here! So thankful for Summer & family time here in Tennessee!
