She's A Cover Girl

Look who made the COVER of the magazine!!! She's 72! It's her birthday and we just made her the "Cover Girl" ourselves. Don't you just love AI for fun things like this!? She sure did! SHE is our Mama & deserves  to be celebrated by laughter and love! A fun lunch is always had when us girls get together! I am so grateful to live close to be able to see my mom and sissy anytime! Also a short little get away for us to spend some quality mother/daugher time with a little hiking, a little shopping, eating & watching a movie in a cozy home in the woods.  

That's the true secret to "Longevity"... taking time to enjoy life, 

be with the ones you love & 

thank God for every day He gives you.

A Resurrection Garden

Easter time is a beautiful time to reflect on the story of Jesus. A beautiful day for the celebration of his resurrection! Sunny skies means perfect day for an egg hunt, family gathering, church & family pics. Noah in the swing wins the prize this year! Cracks me up! Happy Mama having these moments to remember. Papa had a bday & so we made him a Resurrection Garden for Easter Day & we also celebrated his bday! We found the perfect rock to be the tomb & I felt like a child placing each stone to line the path to the tomb. What a fun little project & was wishing I made these with the kids when they were younger. He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!

 

The Budding Begins

This is just the beginning & it's amazing how much joy it brings me already! I adore the daily checks to see what is coming up out of the ground to say hello to the new season upon us. Every day changes excites me! The beauty of all that buds & then blooms comes from no other than our Lord. He makes all things & all things can certainly spring up when sewn with seeds of God. I feel so many messages through nature and outdoors. Gardening just intensifies it & the process is hard work, but so rewarding. It's how God intended it. The dirt, the rain, the blooming... it all has such meaning.

Noah Want A Cracker?

Any chance of a pic of our kids... I will take it! But when you tell them to look and smile, they grab hands & hold one another like goofy brothers would do. But I don't care... I just love seeing them smile! Then Noah went on spring break in college and I just love his pic with the parrots. So beautiful! Beautiful beach & fun with his college buddies. I doubt he wants a cracker... he probably just hopes they don't poop!!!

We celebrated a couple bdays for family & started venturing out for some fresh air... because the air is getting warmer. Thank you Lord. I am a girl that is always ready for spring!!!
